Description:
The Social, Cultural, and Humanitarian committee of the General Assembly will address two important topics: aging populations and increasing the political participation of women. SOCHUM must grapple with the demographic straitjacket binding the global future, as well as the inaccurate social and cultural notions that restrict female participation in civil society throughout the world.
