Description:
UNESCO is dedicated to promoting international peace and cooperation through educational, scientific, and cultural means, and delegates to its Executive Board at MUNUC XXIV will have the opportunity to address global issues with these creative fields. As the leading body of UNESCO, Executive Board delegates will be responsible for tackling major problems, like poverty and disaster relief, with practical and innovative solutions. By working together, the 42 nations on the Executive Board will set a global agenda that can be implemented throughout the United Nations, for the purpose of using education and culture, rather than politics or violence, in the pursuit of peace and development.
