Country Assignments Posted! - October 28, 2011

Dear Advisors,

Your school's country assignment can now be viewed in AdvisorWeb.

There are also a few upcoming deadlines. Financial Aid is due November 4th . Please either mail in your forms to the MUNUC Office, or e-mail them to munuc@munuc.org. Please visit our fees page for more information about financial aid.

Hotel and Delegate Rosters must be completed by November 11th! These can be completed in AdvisorWeb.

Finally, delegate fees are due November 25th . You must fill out your delegate roster to calculate the correct school fee amount. If you have any questions about fees, please visit our fees page or e-mail our Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Chris Williams at cfo@munuc.org .

Advisorweb Open for MUNUC XXIV - August 15, 2011

AdvisorWeb, our online delegation management software, is now operational. Advisors, use AdvisorWeb to request country assignments, make reservations at the Palmer House Hilton, manage your payments and rosters, and much more. Different features of AdvisorWeb will become available throughout the year, and we'll let you know when they do.

You can log in to AdvisorWeb using the following steps:

1. Go to http://munuc.org/password
2. Enter the e-mail address you used to register on our website
3. Check your email for a temporary password. If you don't see a message from us, be sure to check your spam folders; some filters mistakenly flag messages from our automated systems.
4. Use your e-mail address and temporary password to log in to AdvisorWeb in the top-right corner of www.munuc.org

As a reminder, please remember to submit your country preferences by September 25, 2011.

Election Results - February 23, 2011

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ben Smithgall has been elected Secretary-General of MUNUC XXIV, and Ms. Miranda Li has been elected Member-at-Large. Mr. Smithgall served as Undersecretary-General for Continuous Crisis Committees, and Ms. Li served as the President of the U.S. National Security Council at MUNUC XXIII.

Congratulations - February 08, 2011

Congratulations to everyone involved on an unforgettable Twenty-Third Annual Conference. MUNUC XXIII carried on the traditions of professionalism, education, and intellectual inquiry that have been at our conference's core from the start.

The entire staff of MUNUC XXIII was honored to have you with us last weekend, and we welcome your feedback so we can make our next conference even better than our last. Please watch this space for a full list of awards earned at MUNUC XXIII, and again, our thanks to you all.

Winter Weather - February 01, 2011

There's a blizzard forecasted to hit Chicago this week, but we at MUNUC are optimistic that it won't affect conference significantly.

With the blizzard warning set to expire at 3 pm on Wednesday, we plan to move forward with all conference events as scheduled. We know some schools may have difficulty with their travels to Chicago, and we'll be doing everything possible to accommodate late arrivals. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us.

Roster Adjustments - January 05, 2011

Advisors, if you need to change your delegation's roster, please email help@munuc.org with all changes. Please note that we cannot make changes to your Palmer House Hilton reservations; you'll need to contact the hotel directly by emailing zina.sakharia@hilton.com.

Background Guides Available - November 27, 2010

Background guides for MUNUC XXIII are available online here! We hope you find these documents helpful in your preparations for conference. Please also take a moment to review the guidelines for position papers. Every delegation should submit a position paper, about one page in length, for both of its committee's topics. Please postmark all position papers by 10 January 2010.

Country assignments for MUNUC XXIII are complete! Advisors, please log in to your AdvisorWeb profile to view your delegation's assignments. You can also assign delegates to countries and committees, and make your reservations for the Palmer House Hilton. As always, just let us know if we can help with anything.

Election Results - February 24, 2010

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Reece Trevor has been elected Secretary-General of MUNUC XXIII. Mr. Trevor is the former Undersecretary-General for Regional Committees.

Mr. Konrad Weeda has been elected Member-at-Large for MUNUC XXIII. Mr. Weeda chaired the World Bank at MUNUC XXI and, more recently, presided over the Cabinet of Israel at MUNUC XXII.

Awards - February 17, 2010

Dear Delegates, Advisors, and Chaperones,

I want to thank you all for your participation in MUNUC XXII! Delegates, we were impressed by the quality of debate and interaction seen in the committees. Advisors and Chaperones, our conference would not have been so successful without your help and cooperation.
